Residential Students

Those who elect to stay on campus are considered residential students and will be housed in one of the university's residents halls. Exact information will be sent to accepted residential students.

Residential students are expected to arrive on campus between 12pm and 3pm on the first day of the program to check into their housing. Access to the dorm ends at 12pm on the final day of the program and students must be fully moved out by that time.

Room Basics
  • The dorms are co-ed. Genders are divided into different wings. 
  • Each bedroom is fitted with a computer point which can be connected to the University computer network, WiFi is also available. 
  • Laundry machines are complimentary but laundry detergent is not provided.

The University of Illinois prohibits the use, possession, distribution, sale, making, or manufacturing of illicit drugs and alcohol, in all University campus and in all student residences including bedrooms. University of Illinois’ Code of Conduct Policy, Section 15 and 16 prohibit such actions. 

Meals

Meals for residential students are covered under the program costs. Visitors are welcome to have meals at the housing dinning hall with the meal rates below:

Breakfast $9.81 per meal 7:00 am - 8:30 am
Lunch $13.81 per meal 11:15 am - 1:00 pm
Dinner $16.61 per meal 4:45 pm - 6:15 pm

Commuter Students

Those who live locally or have arranged for housing on their own are considered commuter students and will not pay for housing through the program.
Lunches for commuter students are covered under the program costs.
