About this Award
The Linguistics Student Leadership award is given to graduate and undergraduate students who have excelled in leadership and service in Linguistics and/or TESL. This award is typically given to presidents of the Linguistics Student Organization (LSO) and the League of Linguists (LOL), to the main organizers of the ILLS and SOSY student conferences, and to any other students who have demonstrated an outstanding level of service and leadership. The award is decided on by the Linguistics awards committee.
