We are delighted to announce that Linguistics office manager Natalia Sakhartova has received the Marita Romine Distinguished Service Award from the School of Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics.

The Marita Romine Distinguished Service Award is awarded to staff members who make outstanding contributions to the school. Awardees are selected based on the following criteria:  demonstrate high standards and excellence in overall work performance; promote positive morale through a congenial, supportive attitude and by coaching, supporting and mentoring others; show commitment to professional development as well as to develop and recognize others; promote teamwork, collaboration and cohesiveness; exhibit initiative, creativity and problem resolution abilities, resulting in improved operating efficiency within the School; contribute significantly to the overall success of his/her area, and is a great representative of SLCL to our campus community.
