Working as a Lecturer and ESL Writing Curriculum Coordinator since 2013.

What is your area of focus?
I oversee ESL writing curriculum and materials development and provide instructor training. I also teach courses on academic writing, business writing, and pronunciation for international students. My current research interests are online education, instructional design, English for Specific Purposes, and needs analysis.

What are you working on right now?
Currently, I'm developing a new business writing course called "ESL 525 Elements of Business Writing" in collaboration with my colleagues in Illinois ESL. It is targeted at upper-level international students who needs a single course sequence to fulfill their graduation requirement and wants to study business writing rather than academic writing for their career goal. I'm excited about bringing this course to life soon!
