What degree did you receive from Illinois and when? 
I graduated with an MA in TESOL in 2023

What have you been doing since you graduated? 
During my first year in the program, I was admitted to a PhD program in Germany and offered a lecturer position. After a year of working and researching in Germany, I decided to return to UIUC to pursue my PhD in Curriculum & Instruction. I am currently working as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant in the C&I department and teaching the CI 467 class as the instructor of record.

What are you working on right now? 
I am currently working on my Early Research project for my doctoral program.

 How has your degree from Illinois helped you in your career?
It helped me structure my doctoral project more effectively, thanks to the teaching experiences and networking opportunities I gained throughout the program.
