Martine completed his Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Italian Language and Literature at the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. His current research focuses on L2 and L3 acquisition, specifically exploring models of L3 transfer and its conditioning factors. Martine is also interested in Romance morphosyntax and argument structure.
